The purpose of Advent is to prepare for one of the greatest miracles
in all history, the Incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
The Eternal, Almighty and Invisible God has taken on a human body and entered our world as a baby so that we could know God by knowing Jesus.

This Advent we are going to explore what the Incarnation reveals to us about God’s character and His great love and commitment to us.

The Son of God became man
to enable us to become
the sons of God.

— C S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
