What a "sign" for the Savior to be found as a helpless baby wrapped up and placed in an animal feeding trough. What does this say about Our Lord? He knows that signs are helpful to us, but often the signs we really need to see, are wrapped in humility. Lord thank you that you understand us perfectly and you know what kind of sign we need to experience in order to know who you are as Our Lord and Savior. May we see the "signs" to have for us this week.

Jesus’s birth announcement- the Seed of the Word planted in the Garden that the Seed of the Woman would bruise/ break/ overwhelm the serpent’s head has now born its Fruit. Think of that Word alive and moving through the DNA of generation after generation - coming to David - the crisis when the enemy thought he could abort the Seed when the wicked grandmother queen had all the progeny slain. But one was hidden in the temple, and he carried the Seed. I love that the Word of God is Seed that carries life and spirit to its full end. Now like Mary, we His Betrothed carry His Seed , and that Seed will come forth as a glorious Church…

Hallelujah, our Messiah is with us. Shepherds and Wise Men saw Him, but we know Him because we have the privilege of the presence of the Holy Spirit with us.
