65 All the neighbors were filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people were talking about all these things. 66 Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.

Lord as the miracle of John the Baptist's birth filled them with "awe" and "wonder" may our awe and wonder be even greater because we know how John prepared the way for our beloved Savior and Lord Jesus. May the Lord renew in us the awe and wonder of God becoming a baby.

Lord we desperately need this type of encouragement after COVID and the struggles we face with our building.

What would it take to fill our neighbors with awe and to get the whole community talking? Right now days go on pretty much as usual, but something is stirring deep in our spirits. What is the Spirit up to that would be a whole community wake-up call? Like Habbakkuk, I am standing on the watchtower waiting in faith for the vision that hastens to its end!
